The Uniqueness of Living Faith School of Ministry
1. It is Church-based. Classes are held at Faith Chapel in Syracuse, New York and are also broadcast live in international church sites.
2. It is Pastor-Led. LFSOM founder and director, Dr. J. Lee Simmons continues to pastor as he has done for the past thirty-five years. As an active practitioner in ministry he teaches from ministry experience.
3. It is Outcome-Based. The curriculum of LFSOM is focused on producing faithful and fruitful ministers of Jesus Christ. The direction of very class is targeted to this outcome.
4. It is Balanced. The curriculum is divided in preparing students for ministry in three key areas: mature Christian character, Bible and theological knowledge and ministry skills.
5. It is a Community. All students meet together weekly for class over a three year period. Academic competition, assertive individuality and are not part of a community learning experience. The school functions as unity and students learn and grow together.
6. It is a Covenant Relationship. Pastor Lee’s passion is to impart himself in the lives of his students. He promises his students he will give his all to equip them for ministry. In response he asks his students to give their best and commit themselves the three years of training.
