Living Faith School of Ministry- Statement Of Faith

  •  We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:15-17, 2 Peter 1:21)
  • We believe in the triune Godhead as eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14)
  • We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His substitution and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His present priestly ministry. (Matthew 1:22,23, Philippians 2:6-11, Isaiah 53:4-7, 1 Corinthians 15:3-8)
  • We believe in a personal salvation through the atoning work of Jesus Christ for all who, by God's grace, repent of dead works and who, by faith, receive and confess Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior unto regeneration. (Ephesians 2:8-10, 2Cor 5:17-21, Romans 10:9,10)
  • We believe in sanctification and holiness of heart and the overcoming life as God's design for every believer. (1 John 3:3-10, 2 Peter 1:3-8, 1 Peter 1:16-16)
  • We believe that sexual purity is a necessary expression for all of God’s children and requires abstinence from premarital sex (fornication), extramarital sex (adultery), incest, homosexuality, or other sexual relationships or practices forbidden by Scripture. (Hebrews 13:4, 1 Corinthians 6:16, Leviticus 18:1-30)
  • We believe that marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime and a sacred institution established by God. (Matthew 19:4-6)
  • We believe that since mankind is created in God’s image, human life is of inestimable worth and significance in all its dimension, from conception to the grave. (Genesis 1:27; Psalm 139:13-15)
  • We believe in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit as on the day of Pentecost and in the continuing ministry of the Holy Spirit as evidenced in charismatic gifts and ministries and in His fruit in the life of the believer. (Acts 2:1-4, 10:44-48, 11:15-17,1 Corinthians 12:7-11, Galatians 5:22,23)
  • We believe that is the responsibility of the Church to proclaim, teach, demonstrate and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ as His ambassadors until His return; exercising the authority bestowed upon the church in His Name to cast out demons and lay hands on the sick so they will be healed. (Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15-18, Acts 1:8, Romans 15:17-19, Luke 9:1,2)
  • We believe in Baptism by immersion in water, following repentance and in the regular observation of the Lord's super as ordinances to be practiced in the assembly. (Acts 2:38, John 3:5, 1Cor 11:23)
  • We believe in Christ's imminent personal return in power and great glory, and in His present and everlasting dominion. (Acts 1:11, 1 Thessalonians 5:13-18)
  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of eternal punishment. (1Corinthians 15:51-57, John 5:28,29, 11:25, Revelation 20:15, 21:8)
